HELLO SWEATERBABE...I HAVE BEEN LOOKING ON THE INTERNET FOR HELP WITH THIS SWEATER PATTERN MARKED EASY FOR BEGINNER KNITTERS..GAUGE IS 18 STS AND 26 ROWS EQUALS 4 INCHES...I HAVE ALREADY STARTED SHAPING THE NECK AND MOVED STS TO A HOLDER...THEN FRONT: WORK AS FOR BACK UNTIL THE FRONT MEASURES 26 ROWS LESS THAN THE BACK....THE BACK MEASURE 23 AND A HALF..AFTER I KNIT THE FRONT THEN INSTRUCTIONS GO TO SHAPING THE NECK; MAINTAINING PATT, WORK ACROSS 30 STS; ATTACH 2ND BALL OF YARN, AND BIND OFF CENTER 21 STS, COMPLETE ROW...WORKING BOTH SIDES WITH SEPARATE BALLS OF YARN, CONT. IN PATT., DEC 1 ST AT EACH NECK EDGE(EVERY OTHER ROW) 3 TIMES. 27 STS ON EACH SHOULDER. WORK EVEN UNTIL FRONT MEASURES SAME AS BACK TO SHOULDER. BIND OFF FRONT AND BACK SHOULDERS USING 3 NEEDLE BIND-OFF...THANK YOU THIS IS MY FIRST SERIOUS SWEATER PROJECT...IT IS MARKED E A S Y.
