Multiple ways to wear the Lush Button-up Cowl!

The NEW Lush Button-Up Cowl pattern (available now!) is not only a cool, unique gift, but a great accessory piece that can be worn in many different ways.  The slanted button band, slightly oversized and slouchy fit, and 4 buttons give you lots of options.

AND it's made in Knit Picks Andean Silk (only 2 balls!), which is sooo soft and one of my fave yarn choices.

Here are some photos demonstrating different ways to wear the cowl!

The One-Button, casual option:

A 3-button turtleneck look for chillier days:

A folded-over, cozy look with only the 2nd button done:

And a 2-button stand up collar look:

The cowl is actually wide enough to drape over your head like a hood too!

How will you choose to wear yours?  (This pattern is now available for purchase!)

And here is a flat photo so you can see how lovely the lace details are!

Is there a substitute for the yarn? Knit Picks doesn't appear to have the Andean Silk any longer.

Katherine

Hi Patty -
Yea - so bummed that the Andean Silk was discontinued!
Looking at Ravelry.com, I see these yarns have been used to substitute:
Malabrigo Yarn Merino Worsted
Blue Moon Fiber Arts Marine Silk Worsted
Cascade Yarns Alpaca Lana D'Oro
Rowan RYC Cashsoft Aran
The Fibre Company Organik
Cascade Yarns Venezia Worsted

Hope that helps!
Best, SweaterBabe
