Tanja's Lush and Lacy Cardigan
February 15, 2010
Here's another version of the ever-popular #70 Lush and Lacy Cardigan, from an accomplished knitter in Sweden!
Tanja L., from Stockholm, Sweden, knit her Lush and Lacy Cardigan in Marks & Kattens Eco Wool in color 1979, offwhite.
Here are her comments and great mods:
"I love the design. The pattern was very well written and easy to follow.
I made some changes to the front part and excluded the pockets, I wanted the front to match the stunning detail of the back and I had no problems adjusting the pattern.
I made the Lush and Lacy Cardigan with a small change in the front part.
I got so many nice comments wearing it to a yarnfair late this autumn and I felt great wearing it. I used Marks & Kattens Eco wool and it really turned out just as I hoped for.
Thanks for really nice design and I will order some more patterns shortly. I have a few waiting as well but I can´t help myself...
I forgot to mention that I made the change with the buttons as well (easy to see of course) I actually found in my stash some very old, very simply handmade buttons from around the 1940-50 th´s. My grandmother in law (if you say that in english) had them and when she passed away and I got them from my mother in law. They fit perfect to this style and I couldn´t be more pleased. "
Thanks, Tarja! Nicely done!!

I bought this pattern also but have not made it yet. I really like Tanja's changes. Is there a way to get the instructions to her changes. It would be tremendously appreciated. Warmly, Elizabeth
